Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to commit to the full two days, or can I just come to one or two sessions? You are welcome to just come to the sessions that fit your schedule or interests.

I can't make a session I am interested in attending. Will it be offered at another time? Yes, the Digital Scholarship Lab will host repeats of many of the workshops throughout the Fall semester. If you are interested in attending future workshop, let us know, and we will notify you when the workshop will be offered again.

Where are the workshops taking place? Most of the workshops will be held in the Helmerich Collaborative Learning Center (HCLC) in Bizzell Memorial Library. The HCLC is located on Lower Level 1, where the Bookmark Cafe is. Some of the workshops will be held in Innovation @ the EDGE, which is located on the main floor. If you cannot find a workshop space, anyone at a library reference desk can direct you.

Do I need to bring a laptop? We highly recommend that you bring a laptop to ResBaz. Many of the hands-on sessions will require a computer to fully participate. We will have a limited number laptops available if needed.

Do I need to install any software? Maybe. Each session has different requirements. See the individual session descriptions for a list of required software. All of the software used during ResBaz has some version available for free.

Where can I access slides or handouts? All slides and handouts used during ResBaz will be added to session descriptions.

Do you have a twitter hashtag? Yes, please use #resbazOU.
